Regulations for the Safety and Prevention of the presence, sale or illegal use of Banned Substances at the National Racetrack Institute in Venezuela.  Between 2008-2011, where we work at Racetrack La Rinconada, on cases of medication with prohibited substances, over-medication, sudden death, catastrophic injuries in horse racing in Venezuela, and we developed a project which was finally approved in: Official Gazette No. 39,721 of July 26, 2011. Regulations for the Safety and Prevention of the presence, sale or illegal use of Banned Substances at the National Racetrack Institute in Venezuela. This project measure was based on my work as Director (E) of the Animal Health Division and as official veterinary pathologist, in the clinical reports of Official Veterinarian, race follow-ups, necropsies and scientific publications that I lead, as well as the important contribution of the Division of Veterinary Inspection, Department of Toxicology and Legal Consulting of the National Institute of Racetracks of Venezuela.
